Role Description The Electrician role at Rocky Mountain Electric Systems is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Littleton, CO. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and lighting systems for athletic facilities, including wiring, fixtures, panels, and control systems. The Electrician will read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams, ensuring all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance, and collaborating with project managers and other team members to complete projects on schedule. The Electrician will also interact with clients and site personnel as needed to coordinate work, explain technical findings, and support high‑quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in electricity and general electrical work.
• Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical and lighting systems.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with electrical engineering principles relevant to lighting and facility infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and follow applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license; relevant state electrician license or certification is strongly preferred.
• Candidates should possess prior experience in commercial or sports facility electrical work; experience with LED lighting systems is a plus.
