Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Ground SW Engineer with a Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred) to work from either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s).

This is an MID‑SR CAREER (level
4) role where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.

We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state‑of‑the‑art commercial standard methodologies such as Dev Sec Ops  (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools.

You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.

As a member of a hard‑working team that are passionate about their trade, focused on mission and system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. Be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a desire to have fun with your work.

As Ground Software Engineer you will:

• Design, implement, test, and maintain object‑oriented ground system software applications using Java, C#, C++, Angular, Python
• Support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
• Collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology

• Deep Software Development, Software Engineering background, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Experience developing ground subsystems
• Cloud/containerization experience with a good understanding of distributed systems and designing for scalability
• Experience developing microservices
• Demonstrated expertise in Scaled Agile development methodologies, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and teamwork across Agile Development Teams.
