Position: HR Administrator

Reports To: VP of Operations

Location: Littleton, MA

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support daily HR operations and help maintain a positive and compliant work environment. This role handles core HR functions such as employee records management, onboarding, benefits support, HRIS updates, and employee relations. The ideal candidate has strong HR experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to take on expanded responsibilities when needed.

What

You’ll Do
  • Maintain employee files, HR databases, and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and employee changes.
  • Support payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave administration.
  • Assist employees with HR policy, benefits, and general HR inquiries.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, applicant tracking, and interview scheduling.
  • Manage onboarding to ensure a smooth new-hire experience.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state (MA), and local regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with audits and documentation.
  • Support training programs, development initiatives, and job description updates.
  • Provide backup support for higher-level HR responsibilities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of HR administration or related HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and employment law (Massachusetts experience preferred).
  • HRIS and payroll system experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
