The role oversees purchasing of materials, equipment, subcontracts, and temporary facilities for construction projects and inventory. The incumbent manages pricing, delivery, and credit terms while securing high‑value agreements to maximize cost efficiency. They develop and enforce procurement policies to align purchasing activities with project schedules and corporate objectives, work closely with project leadership, estimating, legal, and executive teams to support organizational goals, and cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure long‑term value and competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
- Over 15 years of advancing experience in heavy civil construction across procurement, project management, and estimating.
- Extensive leadership background encompassing strategic planning and organizational direction.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes, best practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, manage time effectively, and deliver results in fast‑paced environments.
