Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to provide exceptional urgent and emergency care at a critical access hospital nestled in the stunning White Mountains of Northern New Hampshire. Required Skills:
- Valid New Hampshire medical license in hand
- Board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine
- Current licensure and certification in emergency medicine
- Ability to manage high-acuity cases and deliver urgent care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to a 24-hour shift schedule
- Ability to support and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior work in rural or community hospital settings
- Bilingual proficiency
- Additional certifications in advanced trauma life support (ATLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), or pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice or residency completion
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts (9:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.)
- Support from APPs (available 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
- Willingness to assist with licensure and certification reimbursements when applicable
- Commitment to providing equitable and patient-centered urgent care
- Hourly Pay Rate: $270.47
