Job Overview
Receives, stocks and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. Responsibilities include operating hand trucks and forklift, as well as administrative responsibilities using computer systems and programs.

- Receives material from suppliers and production and verifies accuracy of packing lists against Purchase orders using SAP purchasing screens or "Boxing report".
- Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production areas.
- Records quantities of material or items received or distributed by use of Material Requisition s, Receiving Ticket, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklift, electronic counting/weighing scales.
- Previous experience operating a forklift is required. Previous inventory experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work in a team environment under high pressure conditions.
- 1-2 years of Warehouse experience desired but not required.
- This position requires lifting up to at least 50 pounds, handling 12 foot long crates with forklift, and computer (email and SAP) skills.
