The OpportunityConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a vital clinical team member, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working alongside medical providers, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment. Your Impact- Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs.
- Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
- Clinical Procedures:
- Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more.
- Execute point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis.
- Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration.
- Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations.
- Patient Engagement & Documentation: Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed.
