Overview

Guest Service Supervisor (GSS) at Global Partners LP is responsible for driving top notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of store level tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise employees, ensuring they perform all duties implemented by management.
  • Coach employees by giving constructive feedback to help perform tasks.
  • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
  • Adhere to established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures.
  • Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels.
  • Ensure all store housekeeping tasks are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
  • Execute guest service programs and processes 24/7.
  • Manage cash processes including deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
  • Replenish products to maintain in-stock conditions.
  • Address inquiries and handle guest complaints.
  • Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be efficient and organized.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the position.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
  • Work in intermittent temperatures (e.g., cooler, outside).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
