• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane‑fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems using diagnostics and proper tools.
• Provide final inspections to ensure all equipment operates safely.
• Complete daily paperwork for each service call.
• Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
• Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
• Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
• Participate in rotational on‑call evenings and weekends.

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Physical capability: frequent driving, climbing in/out of vehicle, confined spaces, heavy lifting, and working at heights up to 50 ft.
• Ability to install various types of heating equipment.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Strong decision‑making skills.

• Valid propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required.
• Heating technician experience is an asset.
