Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Clinician/Therapist to provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will offer individual, family, and group therapy, blending evidence-based therapeutic methods with faith-based support tailored to client needs. This role also involves working with clients navigating substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health issues.
- Conduct mental health assessments for individuals of all ages and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings.
- Integrate faith-based principles into therapeutic practices when requested or appropriate.
- Address substance use concerns and co-occurring mental health challenges using evidence-based methods and a client-centered approach.
- Utilize therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, play therapy (for children), EMDR, or motivational interviewing to support client progress.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community resources to support child and adolescent clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment that respects the cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs of clients.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Stay informed about best practices in mental health, substance use treatment, and faith-based approaches to care.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent) in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Knowledge and experience with substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders preferred.
- Ability to incorporate faith-based principles into therapy when requested by clients.
- Training or experience in play therapy, family therapy, or trauma-informed care is a plus.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients of all ages.
- Commitment to cultural and spiritual competence and inclusivity.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
