Suannes County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for
FULLTIME EMT/FIREFIGHTERS CASUAL & FULLTIME PARAMEDIC/FIREFIGHTERSThese Suwannee County Fire Rescue Services positions will respond to emergency fire, medical, hazardous material, auto accident and other emergencies; and perform duties in accordance with all established policies, procedures and medical protocol.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduation from a standard high school supplemented by State of Florida Firefighter II, Paramedic Certifications, Basic Life Support & Advanced Life Support Certification for Paramedic, Pediatric Advanced Life Support for Paramedic, current EVOC certificate
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and meet all DOT standards.
Minimum salary for EMT/Firefighter is $15.00 an hour, based on qualifications and experience and for Paramedic/Firefighters is $18.60 an hour, based on qualifications and experience.
