POSITION SUMMARY:

The Payroll specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the payroll processes.

Pay: $70,304- $76,030.50

Work Location:

Livermore

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, bonuses, etc.
• Collects timesheet data and payroll information.
• Manage all deductions and garnishments.
• Prepares and processes paychecks and cash deposits.
• Troubleshoot and respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Performs account balance and payroll reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams.
• Stay up-to-date with labor law regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience.
• 3+ years of ADP WFN experience required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge in current labor laws.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with accounting and payroll software.
• Detailed-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to travel and work in an office environment.
• Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to list and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull, bend multiple times a day.
• Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
