Pay Rate
: $20 – $23 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 6:30 am–8:45 am & 1:45 pm–6:00 pm. Candidates must be available all five days.

Location
:
Any schools in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District. Preferred locations are not guaranteed.

• Daily program meetings: review goals, share updates, discuss progress and promote teamwork.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities: prepare curriculum and activities aligned with program objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable.
• Lead by example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including attendance and incident documentation.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and a commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
• LIVE Scan fingerprint background check, FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter training, Health Screening Certificate with a negative TB test.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
