Waste Coordinator – Livermore, CA

About the Role

As a CBRE Waste Coordinator
, you will support the planning and coordination of waste management activities. This role falls under the Waste Management function and involves assisting with waste removal, recycling, treatment, and regulated waste handling processes.

• Ensure small to medium-sized waste shipments are processed correctly in line with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Receive and manage inbound orders related to regulated waste requirements.
• Review shipping documents, waste profiles, labels, and markings for each scheduled inbound order.
• Submit completed waste stream profiles for approval and maintain accurate, up-to-date registers and records.
• Help protect the organization and clients from damage or loss, including reporting any landscape damage to the Senior Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate waste shipment records and prepare approved waste for outbound shipment.
• Follow established procedures to resolve routine and straightforward issues.
• Complete clearly defined tasks using approved methods, processes, and instructions.
• Deliver assigned work under close supervision and guidance while following standard operating procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related work experience
  .
• Ability to follow basic work routines, procedures, and standards.
• Clear communication skills for sharing straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with a curious and detail-oriented mindset.
