Purus Systems is currently hiring a Project Manager for our Commercial Security Division.

Our demand is rapidly growing, and we are looking for amazing people to join our team. We are looking for experienced installer/manager who will have the opportunity to apply to a lead role and increase your earning potential.

What We Do

We design, install and service Intrusion / CCTV / Card Access systems for commercial businesses throughout the Northern and Central California regions. We are contracted with very well recognized companies such as Johnson Controls, Bay Alarm, PG&E, and others.

Purus Systems is specialized in:

  • Intrusion / Burglary Systems
  • Card Access Control Systems
  • CCTV Systems (installation and programming)
  • Fiber-optics (termination and splicing)
  • Layout configuration
Requirement
  • 5+ years of experience in Management
  • Full-time availability (Monday - Friday and some weekends)
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Pre-employment Background Check
  • Clean driving record with your own reliable transportation
Responsibility
  • Project Coordination and Execution:
    • Interpret, organize, and execute projects from inception to completion.
    • Prepare project documents such as specifications and layout documents.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy between engineering plans and specifications.
    • Incorporate operation, quality, environmental, and safety considerations into project design.
    • Monitor compliance with relevant codes, practices, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) policies, and performance standards.
    • Uphold internal company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and external regulations throughout project execution.
  • Quality Control and Project Management:
    • Conduct comprehensive quality control of project elements including budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance.
    • Regularly report on project status to stakeholders.
    • Direct, oversee, and manage project personnel to ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project technicians and stakeholders.
    • Support management in meeting project contractual deliverables.
    • Organize fieldwork and delegate tasks to technicians and staff.
    • Monitor and track project budgets and schedules diligently.
  • Project Design Oversight:
    • Review and mark up full design plan sets to ensure clarity, completeness, and accuracy.
    • Supervise technicians' design work to maintain quality standards.
  • Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Assist in developing project proposals, defining discipline scope, and establishing fees.
    • Conduct risk analysis to mitigate project risks and ensure success.
    • Minimize non-recoverable losses and manage risk effectively.
    • Address daily requests for information (RFIs) and project submittals promptly.
    • Manage external communications with clients, officials, and contractors professionally.
    • Understand and enhance customer relations by aligning with internal and external customer needs and expectations.
The Position May Require A Person To
  • Be on your feet for 8 - 10 hours a day
  • Lift 50 - 70 lbs.
  • Perform physical labor in unusual spaces, such as crawl spaces or above ceiling tiles
  • Climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Lift and use equipment for long periods of time
  • Travel to various locations

  • Is able to travel for 7-10 days at a time within the Northern California region
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Conducts themselves in a professional manner
  • Possesses a great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Is comfortable using phone-based applications to perform daily tasks
  • Over 5 years of experience in Management
  • Experience in Cable, Internet & Satellite Field Service Technicians (Preferred)
  • Experience in CCTV, Alarm Installation or Low Voltage (Preferred)
