Responsible for the maintenance of commercial landscapes.

• Experience Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required.
• License or Certification Valid Driver’s License issued from state of employment, preferred but not required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Foreman and team members.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service.
  • Ability to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out tasks.
  • Deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Frequently exposed to loud noise levels.

• Ensure job site is maintained as instructed by Foreman. Possible duties include, but are not limited to mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging, and hand pruning.
• Safe operation of equipment, including 21” and 36” mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator.
• Basic understanding of Plant .
• Basic hand pruning skills.
• Basic skill in shearing shrubs and hedges.
• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with Monarch Safety Policy.
• Abide by Monarch code of conduct at all times.
• Show up to work each day on time; complete all tasks within time expectations; adhere to company dress code policy; wear clean clothes to work each day; follow inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures.

Salary information is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $16.00 - $20.00
