Volleyball Coach, 6th Grade - Girls 2025/2026

The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and supervising a total sports program
• Providing instruction in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for athletes to realize individual and team success
• Demonstrating behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in student athletes

Qualifications:

• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
• Ability to serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementing athletic policies approved by the school district
• Interpreting system, state, and league regulations for staff
• Establishing the fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques to be taught by staff
• Training and informing staff, encouraging professional growth
