Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced accountant who has experience of working in a UK practice and management of a client portfolio. This a varied and interesting role for the right candidate with a broad cross-section of work. Role responsibilities Preparation and finalisation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Calculating income tax and corporation tax liabilities while advising clients appropriately. Preparation and filing of corporation tax and personal tax returns. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. All round Book-keeping and Accounting duties Giving general advice to clients. Personal Requirements ACCA/ACA Qualified, Finalist or approaching final stages Experience in UK practice is essential. Strong understanding of financial statements. Tax experience desirable.

Proficiency in accounting and tax soft software e.g. Sage, Xero, Iris. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients.
