Senior Associate – Permanent – Liverpool - £30k - £38k DOE

Forrest Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join out client in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio within a supporting and collaborative team environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services, while building strong client relationships and providing practical advice.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparation of statutory accounts

* Corporation Tax computations and returns

* Preparation and submission of VAT returns

* Bookkeeping duties

* Company Secretarial work

* Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships

* Managing client relationships and responding to client queries

Essential:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice

* Strong accuracy and attention to detail

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

* Confident communicator, able to speak with and advise clients

* Up-to-date knowledge of accounts and current tax legislation

* Experience using Xero, Quick Books, and Sage (essential)

* Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous, but not essential
