Senior Associate

Forrest Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join out client in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take ownership of a varied client portfolio within a supporting and collaborative team environment. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality accounting and tax services, while building strong client relationships and providing practical advice.

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Corporation Tax computations and returns
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Bookkeeping duties
• Company Secretarial work
• Preparation of Self‑Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
• Managing client relationships and responding to client queries

• Minimum 5 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Confident communicator, able to speak with and advise clients
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of accounts and current tax legislation
• Experience using Xero, Quick Books, and Sage (essential)
• Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous, but not essential
