Accounting & Tax Associate

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
• Corporation Tax computations and Returns
• Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
• Company Secretarial duties
• Carrying out basic technical tasks as assigned

Working collaboratively as part of a team, with an overall reporting line to the Partners.

Forrest Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting & Tax Associate to join a growing team of professionals in Liverpool City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practice experience who is looking to develop their technical skills and progress within a supportive firm.

Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice (preferred).

• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, with guidance from managers
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to apply common sense
• Experience using Xero, Quick Books, and Sage (essential)
• Knowledge of CCH would be advantageous, but is not essential
