An independent firm with an enviable and wide-ranging portfolio of clients with an excellent reputation for delivering a high-quality service.Reporting to the Senior Audit Managers and Audit Managers, the Audit Assistant Manager will:
- Assist and deliver high quality audit and accounts work on client engagements
- Develop effective relationships with clients and their staff, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction is delivered at all times
- Manage reporting requirements and expectations/deadlines with the clients
- Work on the complex and significant risk areas of the audit and prioritise accordingly
- Undertake day to day management of the field team whilst on assignment, ensuring timely and effective delivery to the required standard
- Knowledge and experience of the audit process gained in a similar practice environment
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to achieving the qualification)
- Experience of using Audit systems and CCH (not essential)
- Competent MS Office skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy and focus
- Strong organization and time management skills
