The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but rapidly growing accountancy and business advisory firm that is building a reputation for delivering proactive, commercial advice to ambitious businesses across the North West.

The Role As an Accounts & Business Advisory Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio while supporting the firm's continued growth.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a variety of sectors Reviewing statutory accounts prepared under FRS
102 and FRS
105 Reviewing corporation tax computations Preparing and reviewing management accounts Delivering business advisory services to help clients improve profitability and growth Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships Supporting clients with cloud accounting solutions and digital transformation Identifying tax planning and advisory opportunities in conjunction with specialist teams Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the team Supporting Directors with business development and networking activities Helping drive improvements in systems, processes and client service This is a highly client-facing role with an excellent balance of accounts, advisory and leadership responsibilities.

The Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have: ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Strong experience within UK accountancy practice Experience managing a client portfolio Excellent technical accounts knowledge Commercial awareness and an advisory mindset Strong communication and relationship-building skills Previous experience mentoring or managing junior staff A proactive attitude with a desire to help grow both clients and the firm What's On Offer £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary Performance-related bonus Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office) Flexible working arrangements Clear progression to Senior Manager and beyond Direct access to Directors and decision-makers Varied and interesting client portfolio Professional subscriptions paid Modern cloud-based systems and technology Supportive and collaborative culture
