An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Operational Management Accountant to join a well-established global organisation with a strong operational footprint and headquarters in Liverpool city centre.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Operational Management Accounting and operational financial support. The role has a strong costing and analysis focus and works closely with operational and technical teams both in the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts, including cost reviews, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Preparing clear, concise commentary to explain financial performance and drivers
• Building strong working relationships with operational and technical stakeholders
• Supporting balance sheet integrity through ownership of reconciliations for accruals, prepayments and inventory
