A leading and ambitious North West accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Assistant Audit Manager to its Liverpool team, paying £42,000 - £47,000. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of audit assignments, develop your leadership experience and work with a varied portfolio of clients.

Audit Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing audit assignments from initial planning through to completion.
• Leading audit teams and ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.
• Reviewing audit files and work completed by junior and part-qualified colleagues.
• Identifying audit risks and helping to resolve technical issues.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts alongside audit assignments.

Audit Assistant Manager Attributes:

• ACA or ACCA qualified or approaching qualification.
• Strong external audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience managing assignments across the complete audit cycle.
• Confident supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
