Trial Balance are delighted to be working with an established accountancy practice looking to recruit a Client Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join its team in Marlborough.

Working across a portfolio of clients, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll requirements and supporting the smooth delivery of wider accounting services. As Client Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

-Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
-Preparing VAT information and ensuring returns are completed accurately and within deadline
-Processing client payrolls and managing associated pension submissions
-Liaising directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries and ensure deadlines are met
-Supporting the wider accounts function by maintaining reliable financial information for accounts and tax work
-Identifying opportunities to improve bookkeeping, payroll and administrative processes As Client Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator you'll bring:
Ideally an AAT Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent practical experience across bookkeeping and payroll in an accountancy practice setting. You'll have experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You'll be comfortable managing multiple client deadlines and confident communicating with both clients and colleagues. A pro-active approach, a strong sense of ownership and a genuine willingness to learn and improve will also be important in this role.
