You'll be responsible for accurate financial reporting, reconciliations and supporting property managers with the financial management of residential developments. Career development and progression opportunities The Company Specialist residential property management business Focused on residential blocks, leasehold properties and property developments Provides property management services including service charge and financial management What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Service Charge Accountant Prepare and manage annual service charge budgets and accounts Complete service charge reconciliations and financial reporting Review expenditure and ensure costs are accurately allocated to properties Process and review supplier invoices and payments Liaise with property managers, leaseholders and external stakeholders regarding financial queries Assist with year-end accounts, audits and statutory reporting requirements What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience) Qualified or part-qualified accountant, preferably ACCA, CIMA or ACA Previous experience in service charge accounting or property accounting Strong understanding of residential property and leasehold accounting Experience preparing service charge budgets and year-end accounts Confident working with reconciliations and financial reporting Strong Excel and accounting systems skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Clear communicator with the ability to work effectively with property managers and clients Is this the role for you?
