Interim Group Financial Reporting Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a well-established, listed organisation during a critical reporting period. This is a highly visible role requiring an individual with proven PLC reporting experience , capable of operating at pace while managing multiple stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering both the year-end annual report and accounts and half-year reporting cycle , whilst supporting wider financial reporting projects and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the Group's statutory and PLC reporting timetable. Manage the preparation and delivery of year-end and half-year financial reports. Take ownership of the month-end consolidation process and Group reporting activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and listing requirements. Act as the central point of coordination for reporting work streams across Finance and the wider business. Partner with Executive leadership teams to gather, challenge and refine reporting content.

Work closely with Investor Relations, Marketing and Communications teams to support external reporting deliverables. Manage reporting projects, ensuring deadlines are met within a fast-paced and evolving environment. Liaise with external auditors and key internal stakeholders throughout the reporting cycle. Support continuous improvement initiatives across Group Financial Reporting. About You Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Proven experience within a listed/PLC environment .

Demonstrable track record of delivering annual and interim reports for a publicly listed business. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise. Experience managing month-end consolidation processes within a group structure. Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable operating in a high-profile environment with exposure to senior executives. Resilient, pragmatic and confident in challenging situations, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Able to start at short notice or immediately available. What's on Offer Initial 6-month assignment. Flexible engagement model:
Day Rate or Fixed-Term Contract. Significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic reporting activities. Opportunity to lead critical PLC reporting deliverables within a complex, regulated business environment.
