Job TitleNoticing Coordinator – based at our head office in Knowsley, Liverpool.
DescriptionAs a Noticing Coordinator you will submit notices to local authorities and liaise with them to ensure the works progress in the required timescales and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Act as point of contact to deal with queries from local authorities and MJQ operations team.
- Raise notices in line with legislative lead in times as requested from the operations team.
- Manage the day-to-day work volumes for Noticing & Permits through internal processes and systems.
- Follow street works notification as per Highways Authority guidelines and processes.
- Manage all works comments and associated modifications in a timely manner.
- Follow Noticing and Permit processes, using third party sources and websites to obtain date certainty.
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure the best customer experience.
- Assess permit applications from operations staff to ensure compliance with legislation and appropriate permit scheme operations.
- Record timely starts, stops, and register activities to avoid financial penalty.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the department by adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
- Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports, ensuring actions are identified, pursued and resolved.
- Work with a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
- Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn's values, operational policies, procedures and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, others and communities.

- Noticing / Permitting experience.
- Admin experience.
- Strong planning, organisation and monitoring abilities with attention to detail.
- Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate all levels.
- Competent on Microsoft Excel.
- High standard of numeracy.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.
