Job Title: Executive Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £33,880.05 Per Annum (£37,272.71 is achieved after 12 successful performance in the role) Per Annum
Working Hours: 35 hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Hybrid
Location: Speke, Liverpool

The difference you will make as an Executive AssistantThe role is an Executive Assistant to the Chief Officer and will provide high-level executive administrative and operational support ensuring the smooth functioning of the Chief Officer's Day to day role.
This role requires exceptional report reviewing and writing skills, organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience as a true Executive Assistant. This role will include full comprehensive writing of board papers, proposals and strategic decision making.
This role will also support the Directorate and the Directorate Leadership Team as required.
About youWe are looking for someone with:
- Complex diary management experience
- A high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Share-point
- Effective use of technology, including proficiency in basic AI tools including Microsoft Co pilot

Role Profile- As an Executive Assistant you will the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries directed to the Chief Officer.
- You will liaise with senior leaders, board members, and internal/external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief Officer with professionalism and discretion.
- To support the Chief Officer, you will manage their electronic diary; looking ahead to ensure best use of the Chief Officer's time, including making complex travel arrangements.
- On behalf of the Chief Officer, you will support strategic alignment across the organisation by effectively managing and administering meetings for leadership and various directorate meetings, manage agendas, documentation and action follow-ups.
- You will be responsible for managing the Chief Officer's emails including flagging items for action and monitoring progress.
- You will be responsible for effectively communicating through various methods (Phone/Email/Teams) with directorates across the Group and external agencies.
- As an EA, you will support the Chief Officer by acknowledging complaints and directing them appropriately to ensure they are dealt with properly.
- You will support the Chief Officer by producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations in preparation for meetings as well as be responsible for proof reading and formatting complex reports and documents ensuring that Riverside's report writing standards are adhered to.
- You will make effective use of effective use of technology, including basic AI tools including Microsoft Co-Pilot, to support your work and that of the Chief Officer.
- Manage, review and update digital files within share-point on behalf of your Chief Officer and the directorate.
- Involvement in a range of projects as the need arises.
- You will be responsible for organising directorate events/conferences/seminars/workshops etc.
- Reconciliation of personal expenses, mileage and credit card transactions for the Chief Officer.
- General administration support duties as required and directed by the Chief Officer and direct reports.
