Role Description

The Learner Support & Admin role is a full-time, on-site position based in Liverpool. This role involves providing day-to-day support to learners, including helping them navigate training programmes, answering queries, and signposting to relevant services and resources. The postholder will manage administrative tasks such as maintaining learner records, scheduling appointments, updating databases, and preparing documentation and reports. They will assist with enrolment processes, track learner attendance and progress, and ensure accurate, timely communication with learners, partners, and internal teams.

The role also includes coordinating learning activities, supporting events or workshops, and helping to create a welcoming environment that encourages engagement and positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including experience with data entry, record keeping, and managing schedules.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Word, Excel, email platforms) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in learner support, customer service, or a similar role in education, training, or community support settings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, while managing individual responsibilities and priorities effectively.
  • A compassionate, non-judgmental approach and an understanding of the challenges faced by people with complex life experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Relevant qualifications in administration, education, social care, or a related field are beneficial; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of local support services, employability programmes, or the justice system is an advantage.
