We are currently seeking a skilled VDA / Estimator to join a reputable accident repair group with centres across Scotland, Cumbria, North West England, and the Midlands. Duties of the VDA / Estimator:
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates for repairs
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, bodyshop staff, and customers to ensure clear understanding of repair scopes
  • Use estimation software to produce and submit repair estimates in line with manufacturer and insurance standards
  • Coordinate with the repair team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
  • Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure repair quality and client satisfaction
  • Maintain thorough records of assessments, estimates, and repair processes in compliance with health and safety guidelines
Requirements of the VDA / Estimator:
  • Proven experience as a VDA / Estimator in a motor vehicle bodyshop environment
  • Strong understanding of vehicle damage assessment and repair procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and team members
  • Good working knowledge of estimation software and repair standards
