We are currently representing a well-established accident repair centre in Liverpool that is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their dynamic team. The successful individual will play a key role in delivering accurate vehicle assessments and detailed repair estimates, ensuring swift and consistent repair processes. Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Assess vehicle damage accurately and prepare comprehensive repair estimates
Coordinate repair operations with the workshop team to ensure timely completion
Engage confidently with insurers, customers, and suppliers throughout the repair process
Manage supplementary repair authorisations and negotiate costs effectively
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with industry standards
Utilise estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
Support the continuous improvement of repair procedures and techniques
Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar Vehicle Damage Assessor role
Valid ATA VDA Accreditation (preferred)
Strong understanding of modern vehicle repair techniques across diverse makes and models
Experience inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles
Proficiency with estimating systems like Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and personal integrity
