We are currently representing a well-established accident repair centre in Liverpool that is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their dynamic team.

The successful individual will play a key role in delivering accurate vehicle assessments and detailed repair estimates, ensuring swift and consistent repair processes.

  • Supportive and professional working environment Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Assess vehicle damage accurately and prepare comprehensive repair estimates
  • Coordinate repair operations with the workshop team to ensure timely completion
  • Engage confidently with insurers, customers, and suppliers throughout the repair process
  • Manage supplementary repair authorisations and negotiate costs effectively
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Utilise estimating systems such as Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
  • Support the continuous improvement of repair procedures and techniques
  • Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar Vehicle Damage Assessor role
  • Valid ATA VDA Accreditation (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of modern vehicle repair techniques across diverse makes and models
  • Experience inspecting and assessing damaged vehicles
  • Proficiency with estimating systems like Audatex and Thatcham Escribe
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and personal integrity
