About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established steel fabrication business in the Liverpool area. This company is known for delivering high-quality steelwork solutions across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects. With a strong reputation for precision, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards, they are seeking an Operations / Project Manager to oversee and drive their projects and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee fabrication shop operations and manage ongoing projects from concept to completion.

* Lead and coordinate a team of 12 skilled staff, reporting directly to the Director.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Maintain strong contractual and operational oversight, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

* Provide hands-on support where required, demonstrating practical knowledge of steel fabrication processes.

* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience working with steel, ideally within a fabrication shop environment.

* Strong project management and operational leadership skills.

* Excellent contractual and communication abilities.

* Hands-on approach with the ability to support technical processes when needed.

* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

* Ability to start immediately.
