Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a fast‑growing home improvement business to recruit a Surveyor & Installations Planner to join their expanding operations team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially minded operations professional with experience in planning, logistics or supply chain coordination to join a business entering an exciting growth phase across the UK home improvement sector.
RoleAs Surveyor & Installations Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating installations from supplier through to completion, ensuring efficient scheduling, strong operational flow and excellent customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling installations across multiple regions
- Managing installer capacity, workload and utilisation
- Maintaining forward installation programmes and customer booking schedules
- Coordinating with warehouse teams to align stock and installation readiness
- Managing supplier orders through to final installation
- Monitoring supply chain performance, lead times and delivery accuracy
- Liaising with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams
- Supporting international imports and supply chain coordination
- Tracking and reporting key operational KPIs including installation completion rates, installer utilisation, delivery performance, order accuracy and inventory turnover
- Producing management reports and performance analysis
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending improvements
- Supporting system, process and workflow improvements across the business
- Experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, operations or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and reporting functions
- Experience using CRM, ERP or planning systems
- Strong organisational and time‑management ability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Supply chain qualification (CIPS, APICS or similar)
- Experience with imports and international logistics
- Background in retail, manufacturing or installation‑based industries
- Understanding of warehouse and inventory management
- Salary between £28,000 and £32,000 depending on experience
