As Group EHS Advisor, you will operate beyond day to day compliance activity and play a key role in delivering strategic improvement projects across a complex, diverse, essential infrastructure organisation. Reporting to the Group Assurance and Reporting Manager, you’ll help enhance how we manage, analyse and report EHS performance across the Group, collaborating directly with senior stakeholders to influence key decisions and take ownership of projects that support our long term EHS ambitions.
This position combines EHS delivery, reporting, systems management, stakeholder engagement and collaboration with operational, engineering and marine teams across the Group. This is a real opportunity to influence positive change across our operational business whilst growing and developing your skills and experience.

You’ll have:
- Experience of environment, health and safety within an industrial, operational or hazardous environment, such as ports, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, waste, transport, engineering
- A strong understanding of operational risks and the ability to engage effectively with frontline teams and leaders
- The ability to analyse EHS data and provide timely reports to a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- A proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage a number of priorities, taking ownership for delivering projects
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, such as health and safety, environmental science, engineering, maths, data analytics or other scientific area
