As Estimator, you will be a key member of the pre‑construction team, playing a central role in securing profitable projects and ensuring accurate, competitive pricing. You will work closely with the Bid Coordinator, Commercial Manager and Directors to help secure fit‑out and refurbishment projects, with tender values ranging from £0.5m to £5m.

• Identify and assess new tender opportunities through portals, frameworks, and direct invitations.
• Evaluate tender suitability, risks, and commercial viability in line with company strategy.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates using first principles (labour, plant, and materials).
• Measure and quantify materials required for each project.
• Liaise with supply chain partners and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare programme timelines and ensure estimating deliverables are completed to deadlines.
• Work closely with the wider pre‑construction and delivery teams to ensure alignment from tender stage through to handover.

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction sector, ideally with fit‑out and refurbishment experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities when dealing with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and compliance requirements.
