Assistant Site Manager – support the successful delivery of residential developments. Work alongside the Site Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Hands‑on role coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site activities, monitoring progress, maintaining health & safety standards and supporting the customer journey through handover. Opportunity to lead the site when required.

• Supporting the Site Manager in leading site teams and subcontractors
• Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing on site
• Coordinating works to ensure build programmes and production targets are achieved
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and utility providers to deliver quality homes efficiently and effectively
• Monitoring progress and communicating updates to the Construction Manager
• Supporting site operations and maintaining momentum when covering for the Site Manager
• Ensuring homes are prepared to a high standard for inspections and handover
• Managing the customer journey throughout the build process
• Helping to control costs and ensuring projects remain within budget
• Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, quality and collaboration

You will have experience within the house building sector and be passionate about delivering high‑quality homes safely and efficiently.

• SMSTS
• Black CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) Certification
• Full UK Driving Licence

• Experience working within a national house builder environment
• Strong understanding of NHBC standards, regulations and guidance
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations and associated documentation requirements
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing construction programmes
• Experience supporting site delivery from construction through to customer handover

• Strong IT and digital literacy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong customer focus and understanding of the customer journey
• Ability to motivate and influence others
• Effective planning, organisation and problem‑solving skills
• Strong conflict resolution and decision‑making abilities
• Adaptability and performance in a fast‑paced and changing environment

• Flexibility to travel between sites as required
• Full UK Driving licence required
• Occasional weekend working may be required to support operational needs
