This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional who can take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring financial performance and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects simultaneously.
Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts.
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Identify, prepare, and negotiate variations and change orders.
Procure subcontractors and manage subcontract accounts.
Assess and process subcontractor applications and payments.
Support project teams with contractual advice and risk management.
Produce accurate commercial reports for senior management.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget while maximising profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
Previous experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant commercial software.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
Full UK driving licence.
