Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the North West. THE ROLEAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout Liverpool and the surrounding region.
Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG
264, HSG
248, current asbestos legislation, and UKAS procedures.
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264 - Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG
248 - Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
- Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong understanding of HSG
264, HSG
248, and current asbestos legislation - Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
