Desk Controller

Hire Desk Controller required in Edmonton, North London, joining a well-established plant hire business offering £30,000–£32,000, progression and stability.

• £30,000–££32,000 basic salary

As a Hire Desk Controller
, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hire desk and delivering excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking customer enquiries and identifying their equipment requirements
• Processing equipment on-hire and off-hire requests accurately
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Organising equipment deliveries and collections
• Liaising with customers, drivers and internal teams to coordinate hire requirements
• Keeping hire records and systems up to date
• Providing a professional and efficient service throughout the hire process

This is a busy and varied position where you will become an important part of the day-to-day operation, helping customers get the right equipment where they need it, when they need it.

We are looking for a customer-focused and organised individual who enjoys working in a busy environment.

You may have previous experience within plant hire, equipment rental, tool hire, construction.

You may have worked as a Hire Desk Controller, Hire and Sales Coordinator, Hire Administrator, Hire Negotiator, Rental Manager, Hire Controller, Plant Hire Controller, Rental Administrator or similar to be considered.
