FF&EDesigner
- Role Description
We are seeking a freelance FF&E Designer to support the delivery of high-quality interior environments, with a strong focus on Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E). This role involves developing functional and aesthetically compelling interior schemes from concept through to implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for space planning, specification development, FF&E selection, and ensuring alignment with client requirements, budgets, and project timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Space planning and layout development
- Creation of interior design concepts and presentation materials
- FF&E specification and documentation
- Collaboration with architects, contractors, and suppliers
- Supporting project coordination through delivery stages
- Ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution
- Proven experience in Interior Design, Space Planning, and FF&E specification
- Strong understanding of architectural concepts and technical drawings
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or equivalent
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
- Knowledge of industry standards, procurement processes, and sustainable design practices
