FF&E Interior Designer

We are seeking a freelance FF&E Designer to support the delivery of high-quality interior environments, with a strong focus on Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E). This role involves developing functional and aesthetically compelling interior schemes from concept through to implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for space planning, specification development, FF&E selection, and ensuring alignment with client requirements, budgets, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Space planning and layout development
• Creation of interior design concepts and presentation materials
• FF&E specification and documentation
• Collaboration with architects, contractors, and suppliers
• Supporting project coordination through delivery stages
• Ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution

• Proven experience in Interior Design, Space Planning, and FF&E specification
• Strong understanding of architectural concepts and technical drawings
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or equivalent
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
• Knowledge of industry standards, procurement processes, and sustainable design practices
