Assistant Design Manager MOD Projects
Location:
South West
Salary:
Up to £50,000
We are seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering MOD/DIO/Babcock schemes across the South West. This is a career development role with a clear route to becoming a full Design Manager, working on secured defence projects.
Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with managing design from tender to delivery.
- Work with external consultants, MOD representatives, and subcontractors.
- Support in technical assurance, compliance, and approvals.
- Help coordinate packages, design information flow, and programme deadlines.
- Gain exposure to framework compliance and defence standards.
- Salary up to £50K.
- Long-term career progression into full Design Management.
- Opportunity to work on unique and technically complex MOD projects.
