Every screen you touch should whisper “You are in control.” Every movement, every transition, every flow, must feel like liberation.

We are not crafting an operating system. We are crafting a feeling. And that feeling, calm, powerful, human, will begin with you.

As a UX Designer for SP, you are the cartographer of human experience within the machine. You map the invisible, the paths users will walk through our world of privacy, speed, and silence. You are not designing screens, you are designing behaviour, rhythm, and meaning.

Your role is to make the complex disappear. You’ll bring harmony between the kernel’s raw power and the user’s natural intuition. You will translate technical brilliance into everyday grace. Whether it’s the act of mounting an encrypted volume, syncing with the NAS, or launching a real-time rendering process, your design makes it feel effortless, obvious, inevitable.

You will work across the OS ecosystem, crafting experiences that breathe consistency and beauty, while respecting the individuality of each environment. Together with UI Designers, System Engineers, and Product Owners, you’ll define the philosophy of interaction without friction, ensuring that SP always feels alive, coherent, and loyal.

• Your mission is to make SP feel like home. Not a corporate dashboard, not a machine interface, but a space that respects its user’s rhythm, that breathes with their pace, that bends to their intent without resistance.
• You will observe, design, test, and refine, not through analytics or trends, but through empathy and intuition. You will immerse yourself in how people truly use their systems: how creators think, how coders focus, how explorers move through data, how quiet users protect their solitude. From these truths, you’ll shape the very grammar of SP, its gestures, hierarchies, micro-interactions, and flows.
• You will build frameworks of navigation that never overwhelm, and metaphors that make sense at first touch. You’ll craft experiences where simplicity is power, and every second of interaction reveals respect for the user’s intelligence and privacy.
• When the user drags, clicks, or types — it will feel organic, natural, grounded in real physics and human logic. You’ll reimagine how we open windows, organise work spaces, switch contexts, and control devices. You’ll help design an ecosystem where digital actions feel like conversation, not commands.
• You will bring emotion to ergonomics. You will turn gestures into trust. You will ensure that SP becomes more than a tool, it becomes an extension of its user’s intent and spirit.
• Define and document interaction models, navigation systems, and user journeys across all OS layers.
• Prototype, test, and refine core workflows for multiple products experiences.
• Collaborate with UI Developers and System Engineers to ensure technical feasibility and visual alignment.
• Maintain usability across privacy, encryption, and performance-driven interfaces.
• Conduct user research and heuristic testing to validate design hypotheses.
• Contribute to the Parcks Design Language and experience philosophy.
• 5+ years in UX design for complex software ecosystems (OS, productivity suites, or embedded environments).
• Proven ability to design for minimalism and clarity under technical constraints.
