Music Teacher

We are looking for a creative educator with experience teaching across KS3–KS4 who can inspire students to explore performance, composition and musical appreciation across a variety of styles.

This is a full-time position, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. The successful applicant will earn a minimum of £144 a day, rising to £200 a day depending on qualifications, experience and performance in any school trial.

What you will need to succeed:

You will have a relevant teaching background delivering Music at secondary level. We are seeking someone confident, adaptable and energetic, with a genuine passion for music education and empowering students to express themselves. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, this role offers opportunities to grow your practice and enrich young people’s cultural development.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with performance skills, ensemble work, composition, listening and appraisal in classroom or rehearsal settings.

The ideal Music Teacher should:

• Be Qualified / Newly Qualified / Experienced in teaching Music

• Have a relevant background – Music, Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Secondary Teaching, SEND or mainstream education

• Have experience delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum content

• Be flexible, patient and confident teaching a variety of musical activities

• Be able to communicate effectively within a team

• Be available to work 8.30am–4.00pm
