Job Opportunity:
Dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant
Randstad Education is urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional ready to start immediately and make a genuine difference in a student's educational journey.
We are looking for someone with the empathy and drive to empower students with diverse special needs, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalised support:
Deliver one-on-one and small group support to pupils with various special educational needs. - Collaborate on learning plans:
Work closely with class teachers to implement individualised learning plans and educational strategies. - Foster an inclusive environment:
Help create and maintain a positive and supportive classroom where every student feels valued and included. - Support learning activities:
Assist with lesson preparation, classroom tasks, and tracking student progress to ensure learning goals are met. - Be a positive role model:
Act as a key mentor, guiding students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Experience:
A minimum of six months of prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school. - Skills:
A patient, compassionate, and energetic approach to supporting pupils with SEN. - Communication:
Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to obtain one immediately.
- Advantageous: A relevant educational qualification and experience with a variety of SEN needs are highly beneficial.
