Research Support Officer

The School of Psychology at LJMU seeks to appoint a Research Support Officer, fixed term for approximately 7 months.

We are a large, dynamic department with an excellent reputation for both teaching and research. Our portfolio includes BPS-accredited undergraduate programmes and a wide range of postgraduate taught courses. In , the School was ranked 37 th nationally for research power and was the fourth largest submission from a Post‑92 institution. Our staff currently hold substantial research grants from major funders including Wellcome, NIHR, ESRC, BA, NHS Trusts, and charities.

Since REF
2021, we have produced over 800 publications and received more than 6,000 citations, reflecting the value and reach of our scholarly output.

The School operates a hybrid working policy.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals with some research experience, who can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
