SEN Teaching Assistant

Various schools in Liverpool
Pay: £90 - £95 per day

Hours:

8.30am - 3.30pm

Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for work in Liverpool?

We are looking for experienced and confident teaching assistants with a background in SEN and complex needs to support pupils in schools across Liverpool.

Many of the roles we advertise may start as temporary, but there is often the opportunity to work long-term or to gain permanent employment.

Key Requirements:

* Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs

* School experience supporting students in a classroom or 1-1

* References covering the last two years

* Hold a current DBS on the update service or are willing to complete a new DBS

* The Right to Work in the UK

Duties will include:

* Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities

* Preparing the classroom before lessons

* Working with pupils in small groups and working 1:1 with children with additional needs

* Putting together displays of children’s work

* Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour

* Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks

* Supervising group activities
