Pay Rate: £13.75-£15 per hour (depending on experience)
Role OverviewJoin a nurturing primary school in Croxteth as a Speech & Language Specialist
. You’ll support pupils with speech, language, and communication needs through tailored interventions, working closely with teachers, SENCO, and families to boost confidence and learning outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and design bespoke speech and language intervention plans.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and external professionals to embed strategies.
- Track pupil progress and adapt plans accordingly.
- Provide guidance and resources to teaching staff and parents for continuity of care.
- Qualified Speech & Language Therapist, Speech and Language Specialist, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with primary‑aged pupils with communication needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible availability for full‑time or part‑time assignments starting ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
